Planet & People CIC was founded by Devon-based teacher and environmentalist team, Bethia Stevenson-Paul and Jess Carter. We support schools, businesses and families to engage with environmental practices to create a better future for planet and people.

Jess - As an environmental professional with experience of practical ecology and research as well as having worked as a project coordinator on a large environmental programme at the National Trust, I am committed to encouraging people, especially the next generation, to have an appreciation of the natural world and giving simple, practical advice on how to protect it. With a positive and professional approach, I work with energy and enthusiasm to connect with young people and communicate my passion for the natural world.

Bethia - I studied Geography and went on to train and then teach Geography for 13 years. In recent years, I feel that planet care and lifestyle/mindset shifts are the most important thing we can learn and we can teach to the next generation. I am especially interested in lifestyle/mindset change - living where we do in the world means our individual impacts are the greatest. At Planet & People CIC we are positive and proactive in our approach - I can't think of a more empowering, enabling and efficient way to move forward. And that I get to go on this journey with young people - even better - they are the most positive and proactive of all!
